is to monitor the anti-ragging activates in the institute. The committee will

Functions;
·
Establish, fund and operate a
toll free anti ragging helpline which cloud be accessed by students in
distress.
·
Any distress message received at
the anti-ragging helpline or complaint shall be simultaneously relayed to the
head of the Institution, Warden of hostel and Nodal officer of Affiliation
University.
·
The head of institution shall be
obliged to act immediately in response to the complaint.
·
The telephone numbers of the
anti-ragging helpline and all the important functionaries in the institute,
head of the institute faculty members, Members of the anti-ragging committee
and anti-ragging Squad, Warden of hostel
and other authorities shall be widely disseminated for access or to seek
help in emergencies.
·
The committee should maintain
appropriate data base to be created out of affidavits affirmed by students and
parents and stored electronically by the institution and such database shall
also function as a record of ragging complaints received and the status of the
action taken thereon.
·
The committee shall make
available the database to a non-government agency to build confidence in the
public.
Duties:
The
anti-ragging committee shall carry out the following functions:-
·
To ensure compliance with the
provisions of Medical Council of India (Prevention and Prohibition of Ragging
in Medical Colleges/ Institution) Regulations.
·
To monitor the anti-ragging
activities in the institution.
·
To consider the recommendations
of the Anti-Ragging Squad and take appropriate decisions, including spelling
out suitable punishment to those found guilty.
·
The committee will meet, record
minutes and meet with The Dean as per following periodicity:-
o For the first three months after admission: Fortnightly
o For the next three months: Monthly
o For the next six months: Quarterly
Anti-Ragging Squad:
·
Composition- There will be two
Anti-Ragging Squads, one for the Girl’s hostel and another for Boy’s hostel.
The anti-ragging squad will comprise of the following:-
o One faculty member
o Respective Hostel Wardens
o One Resident Doctor
o Hostel Staff
o Non- Teaching staff
o Senior students
·
Duties- The anti-raging squad
shall carry out the following functions: -
o It shall work under the overall guidance of the
Anti-Ragging Committee.
o The Squad shall have vigil and patrolling functions.
o It shall be kept mobiles, alert and active at all times
and shall be empowered to inspect places of potential ragging and make surprise
raid on hostel and other hot spots.
o It will conduct regular surprise checking at various
places, hostels and class rooms from time to time, and will appraise the ARC.
o It shall carry bout on the spot investigation into any
incident of ragging and make recommendations to the ARC.
o It shall conduct
anonymous random surveys among fresher’s to check whether the Campus is indeed
free from ragging
o It shall ensure that anti-ragging posters are displayed
in designated places.
o It shall occasionally dine with the newcomers in the
hostels to install confidence among them
o It shall provide a report to the Anti-Ragging Committee
every day for the first month and thereafter as directed by The Dean

with immediate effect. As per the guidelines laid down
by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India relating to sexual harassment of women
workers at work places and the students, and as per the provisions contained in
Rule 3-A (2) of Haryana Government Conduct Rule 1966 and Chief Secretary,
Haryana instructions No. 18/3/97-2GS1 dated 03.06.1998, the following Internal
Complaints Committee of the institute is hereby constituted for

The Role of the Committee will be as follows-

To take proactive measures
towards sensitization of the staff, students and faculty members of the
institute on gender issues.
·
To Review the complaints of the
complainant in a fair and objective manner
·
To act as Inquiry Authority
on a complaint of sexual harassment.
·
To determine the facts of the
case with the individuals concerned and the witnesses, if any, and prepare a
report.
·
To ensure that victims and
witnesses are not victimized or discriminated because of their complaint.
·
To maintain the confidentiality
of the issue at all times.
The Chairperson and the members
of the Committee will go through the “ Handbook on Sexual Harassment of
Women at Workplace ( Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal Act, 2013)” published
by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India, and
follow it in letter and spirit.
The Chairperson will
also ensure that the contact details of all the members of the committee along
with the definition of “What all constitutes Sexual Harassment” are displayed
at all crucial places in the Hospital, Medical College, All Hostels,
Administrative Block and any other area deemed necessary, for the benefit of

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The
basic responsibility of an Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) is to ensure a
competent review of all ethical aspects of the project proposals received by it
in an objective manner. IECs should provide advice to the researchers on all
aspects of the welfare and safety of the research participants after ensuring
the scientific soundness of the proposed research. The scientific evaluation should ensure
technical appropriateness of the proposed study. The responsibilities of an IEC
can be defined as follows: -
1. To protect the dignity, rights and wellbeing
of the potential research participants.
2.
To ensure that universal ethical values and international scientific standards
are expressed in terms of local community values and customs.
3.
To assist in the development and the education of a research community
responsive to local health care requirements.

The broad goal of the committee will be create general awareness about the need of indentifying and reporting Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR), amongst all sections of health care provider (doctors, nurses, pharmacists students, service providers) of the Kalpana Chawla Govt. Objectives: -
To generate awareness about ADR’s among health care providers and students of the institute.
To pick up ADR’s occurring in the patients admitted to the hospital and to report the same to the appropriate authorities i.e. National Pharmacovigilance Centre.
To carry out causality analysis of ADR’s.
To undertake scientific and research activities pertaining to ADR’s
To make efforts to minimize the chances of ADR’s and thereby make drug therapy safer and rational.
To take up activities to strengthen the ongoing National Pharmacovigilance Programme.
Tenure of the Committee: -
The initial tenure of the committee will be for a period of two year from 10/03/2018 to 09/03/2020. The committee will be reconstituted after two year.
Scope of the Committee: -
The committee shall meet once in 3 months. The committee shall be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring of various activities of Pharamacovigilance.
Roles: -
Chairman: -
Will chair and conduct all meetings and will function as administrative head of the committees.
Convener: -
Shall be responsible for arranging meetings and conducting activities with the help of Co-Convener . He will also chair the meeting is absence of the chairman.
Co-Convener: -
Shall assist the convener and co-ordinate with the Member Secretary and the members for smooth functioning of the committee.
Member Secretary: -
The member secretary will play the pivotal role and shall undertake the following activities to help the convener: -
Prepare the agenda of the meeting and send in advance to the members.
Arrange the meeting, write minutes, circulate and document the same.
Organize the awareness generation program.
Co-ordinate the ADR’s collection and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
Carry out causality assessment.
Carry out any other task assigned by the committee.
Members: -
They will primarily work as subject experts and will be directly responsible for the reporting of ADR’s occurring in areas under their control and also in allied specialties. They will also do mentoring of the young faculty/ resident doctors/ students in the area of ADR’s. They will give suggestions for the better and effective functioning of the committee and shall work as facilitators.

To act as Inquiry Authority on a complaint of sexual harassment.
To determine the facts of the case with the individuals concerned and the witnesses, if any, and prepare a report.
To ensure that victims and witnesses are not victimized or discriminated because of their complaint.
To maintain the confidentiality of the issue at all times.
The Chairperson and the members of the Committee will go through the “ Handbook on Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace ( Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal Act, 2013)” published by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India, and follow it in letter and spirit.
The Chairperson will also ensure that the contact details of all the members of the committee along with the definition of “What all constitutes Sexual Harassment” are displayed at all crucial places in the Hospital, Medical College, All Hostels, Administrative Block and any other area deemed necessary, for the benefit of everyone.
