About Department

Department of Pathology is an integrated unit consisting Haematology, Cytopathology and Histopathology sections. The departmental laboratory is furnished with automated cell counter (Beckman- Coulter) and equipments essential for histopathological examination.

Complete haemogram including Hb, TLC, DLC, RBC count, PCV, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, Platelet count, histograms, blood grouping, ESR, Bleeding time, clotting time and peripheral smear examination for RBC morphology and haemoparasites
Fine needle aspiration cytology including USG and CT guided FNAC.
Fluid cytology for pleural, peritoneal, cerebrospinal fluid and urine.
PAP smear examination for cervical cancer screening.
Histopathological examination of biopsy and surgical specimens.
Complete urine and semen analysis.
24 hour emergency laboratory.
