1. Organised a seminar on “PROBLEMS OF HIGH ALTITUDE”at I.G. Medical College, Shimla in 1986, and Sponsored by National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and delivered a lecture on ‘Acute Mountain Sickness’.
2. Organised an Update on Respiratory Medicine and Tuberculosis in 1994 in which faculty from outside the state also participated.
3. Organised CME-96 on Respiratory Medicine and Tuberculosis in 1996 for the doctors of the state.
4. Organised Himachal Pradesh API Chapter Inaugural Meet - cum-CME in Oct, 1999 at Shimla.
5. Organised 2nd Annual Conference cum CME of Himachal Pradesh API Chapter on 4th Nov, 2000 at Shimla.
6. Organised a CME on Pulmonary Medicine in June 2003 in Shimla co-sponsored by Medical Council of India.

Project RESEARCH PROJECTS:
1. A project on "To study the effects of cement dust on the health of population surrounding cement plants in Himachal Pradesh" has been completed which was funded by H.P. State Pollution Control Board, Shimla 2004.
2. Epidemiology of Bronchial Asthma a multicentric trial funded by ICMR, New Delhi is completed.
3. A multicentric trial on Lymph node tuberculosis funded by Revised National TB Control Programme ( RNTCP) is completed 2010.
4. Clinical Trial: Double blind multicentric study on Enoxaparine (Lifenox) in collaboration with Reliance Health Care and Sanofiaventis is completed 2011.
5. ‘INSEARCH’ Indian Study on epidemiology of Asthma, Respiratory symptoms and Chronic bronchitis a multicentric study; sponsored by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR);2010.
Award 1. Awarded “Shree Krishna Ji Govind & Mrs Pramella Bai Bhate Memorial Lecturership in Asthma & Bronchitis” in 1993 by Association of Physicians India.
