About Department

The department of ENT & Head & Neck surgery offers complete medical and surgical care for all the conditions related to Ear, Nose & Throat including ENT emergencies, for patients of all the age groups. In Addition to the routine outpatient services the department runs specialized vertigo, tinnitus, headache clinics apart from the various awareness programmes.

Facilities

IN PATIENT SERVICE

The ENT ward is located at the third floor of the existing hospital building .It is well equipped to give round the clock care to the pre and post operative patients and to carry out routine ward procedures .

OUT PATIENT SERVICE:

The outpatient services are located at the ground floor (Room No. 7) of the existing hospital building. The department is well equipped to carry out detailed and extensive ENT examination including endoscopies, otoscopic examination and nasopharyngolaryngoscopies with the aid of state of art equipments in addition to caarying out routine OPD procedures and running various specialized clinics and awareness programmes .

OPERATING ROOM FACILITIES:

The ENT operation theatre is located athe first floor. It has a state of the art operating microscope with observer eye piece with HD camera fitted to LED monitor to give the best optical resolution during the surgeries and help in teaching. We have nasopharyngolaryngoscopes (Olympus) to help us detect various neoplastic and voice pathologies. We have nasal endoscopes to assist in all routine and complicated nasal surgeries.

The department on regular basis performs all ENT surgeries like adeno tonsillectomy, septoplasty, microlaryngeal surgeries, tympanoplasty and mastoidectomy, stapedotomy, Functional endoscopic sinus surgeries and head and neck surgeries like thyroidectomy, submandibular gland excision, parotidectomy etc.
