About Department

The Department of Respiratory Medicine at KCGMC Karnal is a centre for diagnosis and management of various Respiratory Diseases like Asthma, COPD, Pneumonia, Interstitial Lung Disease, Lung Cancer, Tuberculosis etc. The department offers facilities like Fibrotic Video Bronchoscopy, Diffusion Studies, Spirometry, and PFT which helps in diagnosis and management of various respiratory disorders.

The Department has Pulmonary Function Testing Lab for comprehensive lung function testing and fully equipped Bronchoscopy suite with C-arm facility where various complex endobronchial diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are performed.

The department is fully integrated with the Hospital Management Information System and PACS with dedicated support from Radiology department in services such as CT Scan, MRI, Digital Radiography & Ultrasound Sonography (USG).
